When God calls, we must answer. For years I have felt God calling me into action. To do what, I’m not sure. But one thing is for sure, I have been so blessed by his forgiveness and have felt His love for me. I have no doubt that He is urging me to share my story of brokenness and healing. Recently, at a women’s retreat, I bumped into the speaker and shared with her that I have a story to tell and don’t know how to begin. She asked if I had a blog. I said no. She told me to start one. So here I am. I’m not sure of what to write, but I am trusting that God will lead the way. You see, I lacked self love and confidence and went looking for it in all the wrong places. I made mistakes, big ones and hated myself even more. I struggled with guilt and sadness, until I finally and truly accepted God’s forgiveness. It was this forgiveness from God that helped heal my heart. My hope is to share my experiences and give hope to those struggling with guilt, addiction, depression and whatever else keeps you from living a life filled with joy.
