A Year Later

I realize I wrote my previous blog over a year ago. I had every good intention to write daily. And, to tell you the truth I was so ready to share about my ugly past I was about to blurt it all out! But I got scared. Luckily so. I didn’t have a well laid plan. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t listened to God’s call! This past fall I was the key-note speaker for a women’s retreat. 40 women attended and I LOVED every minute of it! More recently I spoke about 1 Corinthians 13. Again, loved it! One thing I love about speaking is the preparation. It is amazing how when we focus on a scripture passage or a lesson from the Bible, God brings it to life for us. It’s true. When I was studying 1 Corinthians 13, I watched it play out within a friend’s text, a church marquee and a complete stranger showing an act of kindness towards our daughter! So, now I have a plan (of course, we have to be ready for God to put a spin on it at any moment!) Every week I’m focusing on a scripture verse, or two. At the end of the week I will be sharing my thoughts.
